I picked up a dashcam recently from Everbuying and the package arrived soaked through.(See: http://imgur.com/a/6iLxE)
I've been in contact with their support, requesting a full refund or replacement. They asked if the camera works to which I replied that the camera is water damaged and I don't care if it works because it's lifespan has likely been reduced. All of the USB cables had water in their packaging.
They've offered a $10 store credit as "The shipping company takes full responsibility" even though I purchased "insurance".
What should I do for a resolution? It was purchased via Paypal but I would rather use a chargeback as a last resort.
That made me lol. I guess they think store credit is like saying that they refunded the shipping costs since it got wet and that if the item is damaged is irrelevant.
