Myer 40% off Samsonite Sales - how often are they?

Does anyone know how often Myer have these luggage sales?

I am wanting to buy a particular Samsonite case (55cm 72 Hour Spinner). They are $324 retail, and discount luggage places have them around the $195 mark. 40% off at Myer would bring it down almost to the same price.

I have some vouchers I can use at Myer, hence the reason for asking.

Wondering if I could try haggling with them as The Luggage Professionals have it advertised on their website at $197.40, and they have retail shops. Would Myer match the price do you think?

Don't need it before next February, but need to use these vouchers.

    They are very often, sometimes they have bogof, sometimes 50-60% off, I have not seen bigger than 60% however.

    Boxing day sales are normally 40% off on luggage

    Closer to christmas and boxing day sales a lot of luggage stores have samsonite up to 50% off.. Me and my girlfriend got our $600 suitcases for $300

    Why don't you just buy it…? It doesn't take up much space, and you can store out-of-season clothes in it

    If your vouchers are expiring, you can try swapping them at the customer service counter. Tell them your gifting a friend and need a different denomination or the PIN number is scratched (hence not suitable for gifting).

    Wait until the 50-60% off sale, if possible.

    I price matched a Samsonite suitcase at David Jones a couple of years ago but that was in Sydney and I use Peters of Kensington price as a reference. Not sure about Myers price match policy

    Check online retailers, not just MYER, I end up getting from Bags-to-Go, delivered cheaper than Myer 40% off.
