Whirlpool 7.5kg Front Load Washer FSCR80410 $788 (+ $100 EFTPOS Card, $50 Store Credit) C&C - Was $999 @ The Good Guys

130
WASHER100

As pointed out by 143forever on the previous post for F&P washer, the model seems to be not available refer here

So for those still after a good deal on a washer I noticed that there is also a Whirlpool model (https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/whirlpool-75kg-front-load-was…) that is now $888 (down from $999).

On top of that there is still the $100 discount for washers over $800 (WASHER100)

Plus there is a $100 cashback offer EFTPOS card via redemption

And with Click and Collect and additional $50 credit for purchases $600 - $799

As before there is still the $25 GoodGuys digital subscription credit also.

So $999 -> $888 -> $788 (WASHER100) -> $688 (Cashback) -> $638 (C&C) -> $613 ($25 GG giftcard)
(a total of 39% off RRP)

don't buy whirlpool washing machine. I got one and it failed before 2 years manufacturer warranty period and the power board fried before the extended warranty period. Luckily they cannot repair it and I bought LG with the store credit

it has 1.2/ 5 on that product review site - www.productreview.com.au/p/whirlpool-wfs1073ce.html

I have been looking for a month now and i think i am just going to get the 8kg Siemens machine from E&S trading for $999 with 5 year warranty

I see. Siemens seemed like a reliable one. Miele is good but super expensive here compared to European prices

      • Bosh is gud as well.

        • Siemens make Bosch - they are the same company

        • @LM 55: But different brands, reputation and prices.

      • Bosch wae22466au goes as low as $594 at TGG

        • Somehow bad reviews?.

@azm: Different model. People complain on the internet. Choice reviewed it well.

    • That is a different model?

This is FSCR80410. A completely different control panel for starters. Different door. Different specs, etc.

  • don't go whirlpool, my washing machine rusted after a few years up near the control panel, I also have a dishwasher where all the plastic started failing after a year. bad quality. would rather get Samsung or spend more for Bosch miele

  • I've had one of these for almost two months. It's been perfect so far. This relatively new range is now made in Italy and are very different to their older lines. It doesn't mean it's going to be better, but it does mean that most of those reviews are useless. The only reviews I could find when we were looking at them were from Europe.
    Personally, I recommend it.
