6.95 for orders under $99
I'm pretty sure this is old stock, they have pumpkin which hasn't been sold for ages and they don't have the new oatmeal flavour.
Old quest bars don't taste that great.
Direct from quest is around $3.11 AUD per bar, this is around $2.40 AUD per bar, yet I'm still not going to buy it.
At least at iHerb they give you the bars best before date before you buy it.
Also blueberry muffin comes out tomorrow at Quest if anyone is interested. I'm buying at least 3 boxes!
Last time i ordered from Amino it was old stock. Definitely worth paying the slight extra and buying direct imo
good lord, sign me up for the muffins.
iHerb still the cheapest source? (apart from the above of course)iHerb is around $2.71 AUD per bar. They are often fresh, but not always, check the date on the product page.
iHerb also won't have the blueberry muffin bar for a while, Quest has it tomorrow, maybe 1-2 weeks.
I still prefer direct from quest, super fresh bars :)
I assume you mean Quest US, not the Oz store?
@samfisher5986:
Cheers, might have to get onto these Blueberry Muffin ones!
I'm seeing $14.95 (US$) for DHL shipping, is that what you normally pay?
Yes. Shipping takes 2-3 business days.
I purchased my boxes today, can't wait for blueberry muffin!
Yeah nah, I just can't do it… $20 for shipping really kills it for me, will have to wait for blueberry… :( and Oatmeal Choc…
isnt sugar cheaper by the KG?
What flavors are good? I have tried cookies and cream, cookie dough, white choc raspberry and chocolate brownie all from Coles/WW and the aftertaste on all of them was pretty nasty. Didn't check the expiry dates however.
When did you try them?
If this was many months ago or later then you should try them again, they messed up the formula a while back and they tasted like chemicals, also older bars taste bad as well.
Personally Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Oatmeal Chip and Double Chocolate Chunk are my favourites.
I've tried them all over the last 6 months I would guess. The taste was chemical-ly, similar to Splenda which I don't like at all. All other artifical sweeteners I don't usually have a problem with.
It might be worth trying a newer bar but the taste your might not like is sucralose.
Bars without sucralose are Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Strawberry Cheesecake, Lemon Cream Pie, Double Chocolate Chunk, Banana Nut Muffin and Coconut Cashew.
@samfisher5986:
Chocolate peanut butter was my favourite but even after they addressed the flavour issue, it's still not as good as it used to be originally, ie before all of the "soluble corn fiber" attempts.I agree, but I still really like double chocolate chunk.
I have tried a few flavours when Woolies had them for $3.
I could really taste the artificial sweetener in them.as above, try one without sucralose
"Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Strawberry Cheesecake, Lemon Cream Pie, Double Chocolate Chunk, Banana Nut Muffin and Coconut Cashew."
I believe I had the double chocolate chunk. Cant be sure. I will give it another try
