Leo's Fine Food & Wine @ Hartwell (and likely Heidelberg, possibly Kew)
so why comment? :)
It's at the Kew one, saw it there last week, just opposite the registers.
yes, Kew stocks it, but is it also on special there?
I can't recall the price, I just remember seeing it, right next to the sausages section opposite the registers.
I just go there to buy their orange juice…
plastic container: no sale
In general it's bad, or bad because vinegar is acidic?
In general it's bad. The plastics industry focuses all their attention on BPA which is only a small part of the problem to assure The Sheep that things are safe. They're not.
It doesn't stop at plastics either…lots of canned stuff, vaccum flasks and aluminium drink cans are lined with hazardous materials too. Lots of packaged stuff, basically. There is almost no vinegar sold today that doesn't come in plastic bottles. All the big brands have moved to plastic. All the convenience foods are in plastic. Plus cling wrap, etc.
The more you can avoid it, the better I reckon. Growing or making your own stuff helps heaps.

In what do you store them?
Nothing to Bragg about…
