Read this in AFR today thought it'd be interesting to share. Now we know why there were endless Eneloop sales..

"Dick Smith's inventory levels in October 2015 when the company allegedly had 12 years' worth of AA batteries and 11 years' worth of AAA batteries in stock."

    it doesnt says eneloop, i suspect they are dicksmith own brand which of course cannot be sold. their packaging isnt good, and not sure if quality good .

    I was reading this article and literally LOLed at this part:

    "And here's another curly one: Why would Dick Smith have been holding 12 years' worth of batteries on its inventory?"

    "As for why so many batteries – this was explained as more of a hoarding exercise to ready the company for "higher marketing activity in the lead-up to Christmas"."

    Now I know why we have less and less eneloop deals. Could someone release them for us please
