Was half tempted to install in VM and have a look, then I had to signup, and I lost all temptation.
Be curious as to anyone experiences though, for future reference (ie family/friend etc).
Deployed it on my sister and her husband's computers. The interface looks much the same as the Endpoint agent that came with Sophos UTM. Whether it's actually 'business grade' behind the scenes is hard to say.
You need to sign in because you manage and deploy the clients from a web portal. To the best of my knowledge my sister hasn't been spammed by Sophos, and I certainly haven't via the account I used to sign up for Sophos UTM.
