What are you experiences in delivery time when using Target's click & collect? do they really take over 2weeks?

They post the items as individual order parcels from the main warehouse to the local store, which then holds it in the lay-by section.
The SMS notification to collect doesn't work reliably, but the email tracking should alert you.
It takes them a few days to post the article, then normal postage times, then a little time to handle at the receiving end.
Just looking at the packaging of the last article I bought, it was sent Toll IPEC road express, not post. So maybe slightly faster than post.My last order was on the 22nd and notified to collect on the 28th. The one before that was ordered on the 5th, notified to collect on the 8th.
I would only use click and collect if there was no rush, the item wasn't otherwise in stock at the store or you have trouble receiving parcels reliably at home. Collecting is a bit of a hassle too, as at my store you have to find somebody to come to the lay-by counter, they have to work out how to print off the relevant invoice, check your ID, find the parcel and get you to sign for it.
The times I have used it, it has been to get a sale item with unknown stock levels locally, and where I wouldn't be able to get to the store for a day or two, so C&C allowed me to ensure I got the item.
I used the click & collect from target ebay store due to the offers exclusive to ebay. I got it in a few days.
3-5 business days. Pathetic . I did few months back then regret that i could have gone to the store , pickup and pay in-store.
