I've bought Nike, Addidas, Slazenger and some other stuff. Seems normal enough to me.
sportsdirect has a practice of sourcing cheap end clothing that's then rebadged through acquisition or licensing. you won't get the same quality buying some brands from them, and the brands that they've bought now are ruined and have rubbish quality. it's the same here as in the uk

https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2015/apr/28/the-sec…ah, finally makes sense
For what it's worth, the quality of the stuff that I've received from them over the years has been top notch.
if your 'addidas' is spelt like that, something tells me its fake!
Also they have sneaky habit of removing items stating out of stock and shipping the remaining without taking Customer concern…. and next day those items are back on stock and you lose on shipping cost… shame of them..happened more than once to be co-incidence.
Whatever. Very happy with all my stuff without exception. Cant speak for items I haven't bought, but the merchandise I've received is clearly genuine.
Few months back a couple of colleagues and myself bought several hundred dollars worth of stuff between us, including a few karrimor jackets, and had no complaints with quality of any items.
Shipping only took about 4 days too.I'm holidaying in KL and went into a SD Shop the other day looking for a jacket for winter in EU. They had quite a few Karrimor jackets, so I had a good look, they appeared to be well-defined & well-made, though I'm not familiar with the brand. Ended up buying a Ridge outdoor jacket at very good price. It will be tested when I'm in EU come January!
I bought heaps of stuff from them in last couple months… Puma, adidas, nike, everlast - shoes, shirts, jackets. All seems good to me and that's all that matters.
I've bought a few Everlast hoodies for around $10 a piece, they do the job. Not marvellous pieces of engineering but adequate.
I've also had two Helly Hansen jackets from Sports Direct - about $500 total, and they are great quality. Used in Japan for skiing and no complaints.
Is it better with AUD or £
My two cents after having bought some tennis gear from Sportsdirect - the stuff they sell definitely seem to be second-rate quality. The brands are familiar, but the goods feel like they're cheaply-made and then simply labelled with a famous name (and sometimes even with model names that are suspiciously similar to mainstream best-seller models).
And worse, when I queried Sportsdirect about product specs, they just went quiet and ignored my emails/messages after initially being quite responsive (with fluffy meaningless words).
To each their own - but I will never buy from them again. While they're not doing anything technically illegal, to me their business model is bordering on misleading conduct.
How do you feel about the quality? Reviews for the website average one star, with reports of very poor quality on what should be good reliable brands (eg Pierre Cardin, Puma etc)
Thanks
