Note that there's an update coming in November for Animal Crossing to add amiibo functionality and other stuff to the game.

    http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-07-20-four-years-on-a…

    • there is also a cell phone version being added at some point that is a mini version and I believe it will work with your 3ds version! (on some level anyways. maybe items for playing both) Level-5 is going to be doing something like this with all their games (officially announced) and so I think nintendo is as well!

  • Cheers OP! Got myself a copy of Animal crossing and added in a FX light Obi-wan kenobi to get free click and collect.

  • My local store did not have the infinity characters discounted this morning. You might need to do click and collect.

    • The only ones discounted are the ones that are exclusive to Target, you also will probably have to scan them to see correct price in store as they are a little slow sometimes updating prices on tickets

      • Thanks I scanned the exclusive ones they came up as $10. I went back the ext day and they came up as $4, so it works now. I was there about 9am on the day it started first time.

  • Picked up light up Kanan Jarrus. There was a woman there in a Disney jacket and clip board. Wanted to ask her why have they discounted 3 infinity characters when it's all over now. But in my experience most people will give ypu an answer wether they know the actual answer or not, so I didn't bother.

It's basically down to target and big w now.

    Hi guys,

Its only the light-up Infinity 3.0 figures that are $4 - Obi, Kanan and Yoda. Other discounts that went live today-

Guitar Hero - $79 all formats
    Star Wars Battlefront (PS4/XB1) - $29
    Destiny The Taken King (PS4/XB1) - $39

Also, there will be a clearance on XB1 500gb consoles (not S model) starting this Thursday. Will post in a separate thread shortly

    • So, are we anticipating another large-scaled gaming clearance?

      • Nope! The xbox 500gb clearance is a one off that will run for 3 days/whilst stocks last

        • :(

Well, I already got an Xbox One from Target's clearance in late June this year. Are those (the ones you've posted) the only discounts?

  • Animal crossing now showing unavailable online

    • Yeah in store only for the time being

  • wow good price on ACNL. will check in store later this week.

  • waiting for target prices on forza horizon 3 and gears of war 4 :P

Just grabbed a copy of ACNL at Parramatta Westfield. A couple of copies (probably 7-8) locked in a display cabinet.

  • Got Obi and Yoda. Strangly, Obi's box had partially fallen apart with a clean cut, all thanks to the crappy glue that held the cardboard backing and the transparent plastic together.

    Any who, thanks Trent!

  • Thanks OP, picked up Animal Crossing today from Hurstville, they only had about 3 when I got there. Can also confirm Miranda has none left.

Also note, EB games do price matching

    • Does EB do price matching even if the local Target is out of stock? Already tried hitting two Targets around my area with no luck.

      • Worth a try, show them the online price, though a few EB games I checked didn't have New Leaf anymore

      • as an employee, we do not price match clearance items or ones of this large of a gap. I actually went to target to get a copy for my second 3ds. Unless you know the employees really well, and even then, we are not supposed to price match to this kind of deal.

on another note, there is one left in runnaway bay in goldcoast! sold out in southport. Didnt check pacific fair but the employee said there is a good chance there will be some there.

        • I managed to find a Target with multiple copies while looking for something else, so all ends well I guess! Thanks for the info about EB's price matching; I had no idea there was a limit on the price difference. For future reference, what is the maximum?
