Specs are:

15.6" FHD IPS Matte (Anti-Glare)(1920x1080)

6th Gen i5-6300HQ Quad Core, Note: This isn't a low voltage cpu, it will eat the i7-6500U for breakfast!

256GB PCIe SSD, nice, some competing models only have standard M2 or sata, PCIe allows for fastest possible speeds.

oh well. Guess i saved $666.36 today!

  • When I click it, it's not the price the original offer says. Also, how do I do this referral link. I tried opening this in chrome on my phone with the app installed /shrugs.

Crazy good price for those specs - only con is the loss of warranty.

Also it looks like the $14USD discount has ended.

  • warranty issues aside, would this be as good as the ideapad 700 (just with smaller screen)?

Am i saving $400 for a smaller screen or is the ideapad 700 just better overall?

    Thanks OzBer's

The bigger one would generally be a better one for office. Faster CPU, more RAM.

This one better all rounder. Bigger faster SSD, better GPU, more compact and portable, cheaper, but only an i5 CPU compared to the i7.. I'd go for this one.

      • Much appreciated input, thanks!
