Seems like a good price, was going to buy one from the Bang and Olufsen store in South Yarra for $500+ but found them on eBay for 200.
Really good sound quality, black colour sells poorly and looks like there is excess stock worldwide that B&O is trying to clear (usually very hard to get discounts on B&O)

I own a few of Bang and Olufsen products, really amazing sound quality. They are really powerful and clear. You can make it stereo by buying two and using the wireless stereo mode.
Also can connect them together using audio in/out.
is 200 the new standard price? A quick Google search also brings up white at $195
Still €299 on their website and their stores are still charging top dollar for them.

I have this speaker, it produces TOP quality, Clear sound which is expected by the B&O product. Dont be fool by the size, that 4" driver pumps out loud and clear music! And this speaker sounds best when listen in pair! it widen the sound stage and double the power, it makes huge difference. Thats my 2c worth… cheers

b) B&O do not retail these in Australia

Richmond store. Still, they're not $500 plus and they're not sold by B&O here. They're imported by a third party.
I was given one of these last year, it really is a great speaker and I think easily one of the better options at this price point, assuming you don't need portability.
The sound quality is exceptional.
They have been between $189-199 on Ebay for the last 6 months. multiple sellers.
