  Regardless of the price of this thing, I doubt the quality is good enough for it to not come of after going over a bumpy road and result in my phone smashing down on the gear stick.

  I have a few of these. The clamp is decent but the suction suck. Falls off the windscreen after a while.

  Dont get this product, mine kept falling off my windshield even after cleaning the surface and applying pressure. Bought 2 from a store locally, and same result on both. This product looks exactly the same.
  Edit: also forgot to mention the base easily detaches from the rest of the unit rendering it completely useless.

  Gee I must be extra lucky. I've had mine for 6 months to a year, never let me down, suction is great. The rubbery suction bit is starting to discolour a little, but functions fine.
