I just saw that he dropped his new ebook on his Facebook page to promote his upcoming book, the Four Legendary Kingdoms.
Its totally free and is a prequel to the Jack West Jr. Series about how he got his iconic fireman's hat. I can't wait to start reading this little bundle of action!!!

I remember nothing of all these references he's throwing into this… might be time to re-read the series
All time favourite author. Honestly, if it wasn't for reading contest/temple/ice station as a kid I probably would've read so much less. He really introduced me into the action genre (of books) of which 90% of my reading consists. Although for most people it would probably be the other way around but he's the reason I started reading my second favourite author of all time, Michael Crichton. No surprise that Matthew Reilly took inspiration from Crichton as a young writer.
Can't wait for the new book in October as well.
Where Tom Clancy is my favourite for the politics and realism, Reilly is my favourite for the opposite - ridiculous and fast paced without losing that certain quality.
As a fan of Tomb Raider, I also read the excerpt from the new Blade of Gwynnever novel, and it is abysmal, so this pdf made me happy.

Ah, I love his books. I see him as the Michael Bay of action novels. Perfect when I just want mindless reading
I'm also a Matthew Reilly fan, this should be good. I'm a bit behind in reading the Jack West series of books due to life stuff, but I'll get the new book when it comes out and get back to reading more regularly
Am genuinely surprised one of his books hasn't been made into a movie yet.
Ice Station seems like perfect to be made into an action flick.
Contest would be a pretty interesting one to be made! would be great to be able to 'see' the aliens on screen compared to imagination.
The dragon book almost turned me off Reilly for life. Absolute dreck. Here's hoping this will convince me to read the new novel and we'll see a return to the Reilly of old.
In interviews he talks about trying to write completely different books in between his serials to keep his sanity. This may have been one of those misfires.
