Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice/help on planning a trip to the UK from Melbourne with a stop off in Hong Kong.
I am wanting to plan a trip to the UK (Particularly Belfast NI) and spend 2-3 weeks in the UK.
I want to stop off for a few days (up to a week) in Hong Kong either on the way or way back.
Wondering if anyone could help me find the cheapest flights to make this trip possible.
I am happy to land in any UK airport (London, Dublin etc)
Wishing to leave Melbourne around 1st of Feb 2017.
1 leg I want to stop off in Hong Kong for up to a week.
Don't mind where stop off is on other leg.
Would prefer as direct as possible (other than 1 major stop off between Aus-UK)
Would prefer "safer" airlines if possible
Does anyone have tips on what airlines to fly, tips of finding cheapest way of doing this trip (days, stopovers, websites etc.)
Any advice would be great.
Thanks.
Skyscanner is your friend.
Rather than booking individual segments, do a "multi-city" booking as it will likely be cheaper.
It's good that you are going in February as that's usually the cheapest month.
I did some sample searches for you which are showing $1500 on full service airlines…
