After Market USB Android TV Remote

Hey guys,

I currently have this Sony Smart TV running Android and I am getting tired with the IR remote. In consideration of getting a basic 2.4G wireless remote like this; I would like to find out how good it works outside the Android Interface. Eg. Whether it can switch to FTA or browse channels?

I know it's kind of a specific question but if you have any experience using this kind of remote on your smart TV feel free to share.
