iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 64GB Deals? - Android and PC User Lost on Best Deal

Hello to all

First forum post.

I am after assistance with regards to the best deal for a iPad Air 2 WiFi 64GB.

I require 2 for my daughters for school next year. They can use any ipad. What is the best choice and retailer?

From what I can see OfficeWorks seems to have the better deal for the iPad Air 2 WiFi 64GB?

Any suggestion for someone who has NEVER touch an ipad or Mac?

If they don't need them until next year, then wait, don't jump now. New iPads generally come out in time for Christmas, so if you can wait until then, do. Then either buy the older model (iPad Air 2, or 9.7" iPad Pro) when JB Hifi etc start offloading them, or wait until the boxing day sales and snap a new one up then. Recently released Apple products don't tend to go on serious sale, Apple doesn't like anyone doing more than 10% off. So buy old stock, or look out for an eBay/boxing day deal and stack with cashback.

If your kids are careful, then a new iPad will last them better (~3 years), but if they're likely to crack the screen then just get the cheapest one that meets specs (maybe an original iPad Air or iPad 4) until they grow up a bit. Oh, and don't forget a case! A cheap book-type case will save you from a lot of worry.

Look at the Apple shop for a refurbished iPad. They come with a brand new case and battery. They are all wrapped as new so you wouldn't know the difference and come with the standard 12 month warranty. Apple will help you set it up and with any problems at no cost. They even run classes to help you.
