Besides the main one's such as bacardi 151,is there any other alcohol brands with more than 40% alcohol content
Brands of Alcohol Whisky/Rum Ext with More than 40% Alc. Content
Comments
They are typically 40% or less for tax reasons. Usually the more expensive ones will be higher alcohol content. Also, buy them duty free and you'll find a lot more >40%.
I've been eyeing the Lagavulin 16yr and that is 43%. Some others I've got are The Jura 11year (55%), Talisker Storm (45%).
Lagavulin 16yr +1
Inner Circle Rum - Black Dot 75.9%

;)75.9% = 151.8 Proof
Anything with 'OP' (overproof) in the name.
Found a few absinthe bottles with high acl. Content. Anyone know if absinthe is good
It's bad, very very bad. So bad it's good.

This is about 60% and is 'single batch' (it's numbered, so one batch/release can taste different to another). It's always on the very heavily Sherrified side of things, quite rich with dark fruits/fruitcake inflections, that sort of thing. Good value (by Australian standards..) if you like the darker flavour profile.

Booker's is 62% - I'm sure I've bought it on special for $70 or so somewhere.
Absinthe is usually served with a sugar cube and water - flavour can be aniseed to herbal, it's quite sweet. Do make sure you don't have to work the next day. ;-)
Great Northern Distillery's Backburn.
If you ever go to WA, visit the tasting room in the Swan Valley!
Adding to the above chorus of cask strength/overproof and absinthe, off the top of my head:
Bonded Bourbons/Whiskies - must be a minimum of 50% strength due to gov't regulations (see Jim Beam Bonded for a local version)
Wild Turkey 101 - 50.5%
Glenlivet Nadurra is another cask strength Scotch that should be easily available, between 54-60%
Glenfarclas 105 is either 50% or 60%
Look for 'export strength' Gins (mostly found thru duty free in Australia) - these sit at around 47%. Also See Tanqueray no.10 and Star of Bombay @ 47.3% and 47.5%. Even duty free hendricks is 44% compared to 41.4% in normal shops.
West Winds Cutlass gin - 50%
Polish pure spirit @ 95% https://www.nicks.com.au/polmos-spirytus-rektykiowany-rectif…
Green Chartreuse - 55%
Ricard Pastis - 45%
Smirnoff Blue label is 50% I think
Any of the cask strength Whiskey's.
