10x Flybuys Points Offer - How Does It Work?

I have never used the Flybuys program until recently and I would just like to ask a quick question…

I just found out from my Flybuys account that I get 10x Flybuys point if I purchase one of the Coles branded item.

I have activated it but I am not sure how it works. I am wondering if anyone has received similar offer before. Does it mean that I will get 10x Flybuys points for that particular item or will I get 10x Flybuys points for the total bill in which I am also buying that item?

    whenever iv'e had that it's item specific, or range specific. for instance Coles brand 2L orange juice x10 for item specific, or all coles brand 2L juices x10

    It sounds like you will get 10x points just on the products which have a Coles branding on them. Check whether it applies to the Coles ones or any generic Coles brand like the smart buy products which I think they are getting rid of soon.

    The 10x points means 1 base point and 9 bonus points for each $ spend on Coles products.

    Check which products the offer applies to. When I first read this I thought you had an offer on all Coles brand products but on a second reading it might be on a specific Coles product. These individual offers come up from time to time. You only get bonus points on the specific product. Be careful to match the specifications exactly or else you won't get the bonus points.

      Yes, but discounted gift cards on top of 5%(or higher) flybuys deals feel so much better.

      Thanks for letting me know. I didn't realise it works out to be 5% savings, so it's great information for next time.

      I initially thought that the 10x points would apply for my whole shopping bill. However, reading the replies above, I probably won't get the item because I don't really need it.

        Each flybuys point is worth half a percent savings. Half a percent times ten is five percent savings.
