Thanks OP. I have realised I was not sufficiently panicked about all of the impending disasters and threats to mine and my loved ones' survival. What would you recommend as a starter kit? Depending on costs, I will need supplies for between 2 and 7 people, as well as 1 to 4 dogs.
Think of it from an Ozbargainer position. You could feed potentially 10 other creatures on thousands worth of food, or you could buy 10 bullets and feed yourself for a fair while on that cost alone (and have 10 times the amount of food afterwards since no sharing required).
You can sit there afterwards, chewing on a loved one, thinking "what an absolute bargain that was!"
