  The only direct JQ flights from Sydney to Asia (excluding New Zealand, Hawaii and Fiji) are to Denpasar and to Phuket. Otherwise you could fly via Gold Coast/Cairns to Japan or via Melbourne to Singapore or Bangkok and connecting destinations.

  I doubt you can fly three of you to Asia on these dates without having to pay extra on top of the voucher price. The best value flights are sale fares for travel outside school holidays.
  
  Would you consider Australia an Asian country? You might like to fly somewhere in Australia that you haven't been to yet.

As others have said Jetstar you won't be able to fly 3 people to Asia during school holidays.

My suggestion would be to try and sell the voucher or keep it if that's a possible and grab a cheap AirAsia flight on those dates.

Otherwise grab cheap flights to Melbourne and fly from there to Singapore/elsewhere or a combination of both. Eg. Outbound on AirAsia and inbound on Jetstar.
