I have broken a few keyboard keys in the process of cleaning my laptop keyboard.
Anyone know where I can get spare ones relatively cheaply?

Spare laptop keys are around $4 to 5 USD each, and I found that on ebay, the WHOLE REPLACEMENT KEYBOARD is only $25 aussie dollars each. E.g
Guess which option I picked.
Also it's a real damn pain trying to mount the plastic retaining clips onto the individual keys.
You will sometimes break them if you use too much force.
It's less time consuming, to just unscrew the laptop, take out the KB and then put the new one in.
Just make sure that you download the service manual first, since it tells you what screws to remove and how the laptop comes apart.
There are two pretty good sellers on ebay that deal with laptop parts, either Electronics-Mall2015 or PerfectLaptopParts, both have 99 percent feedback.
Thanks for that suggestion.. If it's cheaper to just get a keyboard off ebay, I could probably just take the keys off that and chuck them on this one since there are only a few that need to be replaced. It's just a matter of finding one I can use. Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series.. I need the Ctrl & Fn keys so they need to be squarish too..
If it's under warranty Dell will usually come to the party and replace the keyboard, especially if you tell them the keys came off whilst you were simply cleaning it
Yeah I might contact them and see what they can do about it :)
@chipmunkdude: Make sure to tell them that you were only cleaning the keyboard, and I think they will play ball
@Wampus: will do!
Did you lose Ctrl? Just apologise and move on. :P
Ebay usually has somebody selling individual keys for a few dollars for your particular keyboard, but like scrimshaw I would think about getting a whole replacement keyboard - they are usually easy to fit.
Yep I'm definitely considering that. Thanks!
velcro.
remove all the crap from the back of the key and make it nice and flat. attach velcro. on the computer side you have to do some delicate trimming so the other side of the velcro doesn't block the "pushy-down-bit"
