Saw this on facebook and jumped on it. It say 12 weeks which should be 12 issues, as it is a weekly publication.

Good essays and decent intellectual toilet reading. Or just leave them lying around your house to look clever.

At twenty odd dollars it's a steal imo.

I am cancelling it as soon as three months are up, though. I have the date marked in my calendar!

    It's basically political and cultural pieces made by prominent authors/academics/thinkers. So if you read that and saw '(profanity)' then it will probably just bore you. But if you like reading things that make your brain hurt, this is a winner.

  signed up for this on july 31st. my first issue was the 16th, i've now received the 16th and 23rd in email but still haven't got the print copies which is a little frustrating. i'll probably just end up reading most stuff online as i don't want to wait. anyway, still good to give them a little cash as the articles are so great (have been just reading the free monthly amount for a year or two).

    Hmm. I signed up for print only but I am still studying at the moment so this is an advance purchase for a huge backlog of toilet reading come november! I still have issues of the New York Review of Books to read from my sub last year. But they are brilliant to take on long train rides.

  Did anyone get this to work? I couldn't get the payment to go through on multiple devices.
  I sent a message to their support on the weekend but I haven't heard anything yet.
