Looking for a cheap deal to the pacific Islands, leaving in 4 days time.
My budget is $4500 for 5 nights and 6 days flying from Sydney.
The budget is for 3 homosapians
Requirements-
Clean room, decent food, friendly area, we have no kids.

In your experience is a package deal better or booking things separate?
Package is definitely easier but you have less choice. I don't think there's much difference really in price, sometimes a little cheaper booking a package but then you don't get to make any of the decisions that I love. But if all you want is a beach, pool and relaxation without any hassle package deals are great.
Have a look on tripadvisor and look for some hotels roughly in your budget and send off an email stating the dates and amount of people and ask what's the best they can offer you. Being last minute if there are free rooms they are likely to reduce the price or through in more free meals etc. as they're unlikely to sell the room in the next 4 days.
Keep in mind that most resort locations in Fiji are secluded and there aren't going to be many options to eat and drink so make sure you factor that in if you're staying away from a major town.
it's a bit further north but cebupacific air often have inexpensive fares to manila. - it's a quick leap to one of the islands nearby.

In 4 days time a specifically the pacific islands? Fiji is probably going to be your only and best option. Ticket from SYD are $570 return each with Virgin and there's a myriad of different accommodation and food options that will fit in your budget but you just need to decide where…
It's probably too late to book a package deal now but if you send out a few emails to resorts you should be able to get some good deals being last minute.
