Cannot find a replacement laptop keyboard for an MSI laptop?

I've been on ebay for months now & no joy.

Crazy thing is it was sold at Officeworks?

I'm looking for the version for MSI/16Y1, CX640, 0KN0-XV1UI18

My wifi Fn key is on F7. Everything I see has the battery icon there?

Do you think I can find this?? FFS!!!

My concern is those times when wifi cuts out & you need to hit "Fn/F7".

Before you ask- yes, I've tried searching the CX numbers, too.

I just feel it's odd that this was sold at retail in AU— yet there are NO KEYBOARDS to replace it? WTF? There seems to be a lot of failure at keyboard re-mapping, or I'd do that.

Anyone?

  Remember the computer doesn't know what is painted on the key. If the keyboard is otherwise identical, when you install it, hitting FN F7 will control the wifi even if the key is painted to look like a battery. It is the keyboard driver that determines what effect a key press has.
  Looks like a suitable part on ebay is about $23.

  Does anyone here know of a source for the keyboard I linked in the first comment?

  And yes, I have tried MSi & they don't have any.

  The guys selling on ebay have stated it may not work if I use a different part no….just wonderful.

  Anyone??
