I paid by paypal .. didnt have that issue.
Paying via credit card is done via the Paypal site so it's actually on their page. Maybe people provide it when setting up a Paypal account also?

No, it actually cost 2c by the time it converted from $US to $AU then rounded up (thanks paypal "conversion rate = 50c to the dollar!)
