Both PS4 and XB1 are region-free, however it looks like DLC for the game has to be bought from that country
Yeah USA DLC won't work on an AUS disk and vice-versa. I know that's how it works for PS4, DLC for XBOX One games is region-free though :)

It's perfectly fine to import PS4 games from the USA - you just need to purchase any DLC you want on a U.S. Playstation account. It usually ends up cheaper buying it from the USA anyway :P
If you have a U.S. disc and DLC, you can still play it on your Australian account if it's your trophy account.
I buy cheap games from the U.S.A. all the time for my PS4 and XBOX One!

I actually bought a copy purely out of curiosity. Like, 99% sure it'll be fake, but 20 bucks, hopefully it'll play, and maybe I can even play Doom and get my money back, who knows.
