  Peoples opinions, this game worth buyin? I love my starcraft and warcraft rts games purely for the multiplayer. How does this stack up?

  hmm.. the main drawback motyrider is that there's absolutely no campaign mode. the only bit of story you see is at the intro to the game, and after that it's just essentially random map/skirmish gameplay with pc or human opponents.

  The scale of the game is enormous. There are some aspects of this game that are just damn cool.. but then, some games can take hours upon hours to finish. Some of the game sites that have reviewed the game said that a short round is usually at least an hour… whereas a long game can have you playing through the entire night just to reach a win/lose result.

  I went through the tutorials and tried a couple games. My 2nd game lasted over 4hrs…
  If you're into faster game play and far-shorter game lengths, try the sc2 beta!

  I have played this game when it first came out, its pretty good but if your at a LAN and your vsing a few AI players the game goes on for hours.

  On the + side it was something different than the usual games. It sort of reminds me of Star Trek + Orion.
