Hi, want to buy a dash cam since i have noticed an increase in negligent drivers. Any good dash cams around the $20-30 mark?
Thanks

A118c is very cheap ($50 delivered, max) and is actually good quality.
Find $100, buy the a119
Don't skimp on something like this
How does the a118c compare to the a119? I need a new dash cam but I got burned buying a dodgy one on eBay - still sorting through that mess.
Have a look on Youtube. The review I saw, he said the A119 was the cam of the year (so far)
Awesome night view on it!Cheers mate! I certainly will, I'm glad OzB has the collective power of knowing what's good and what's not so good.
@Spackbace: even better! I've spent a little over $400 today tbabks to OzB
I've tried a bunch of cheap cameras and they've all been pretty useless. Ended up going for a more expensive "Street Guardian" brand camera. I had a difficult time even reading license plates on the cheaper cameras, which makes hem not fit for purpose.
http://dashcamownersaus.com.au/ <—- Great site for reviews and information. I also ended up buying from there, and it arrived the next morning.
This one is currently half price.

Plus you can get a further $10 credit with their current promotion.
Edit: Okay apparently it's not that great… https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/249646
All the cameras I have bought in the $20-30 range were potatoes, terrible picture quality and stopped working after a month. Better off spending an extra 20 or 30 and getting a g1w or a118c
