Anyone Have Experience with Clamp Style Desk Mounts?

To those that use monitor mounts/stands. Do any of you use the clamp styles ones that clamp underneath the table?

How sturdy is it? Does it come loose after awhile?

I recommend Ergotron branded gear, I have the flex models and they are fantastic (pricey). But I think they also do fixed clamp mounts.

I use 2 of these for dual 28 inch displays

These have pivoting arms allowing easy re-postioning. I move them gently and have been pretty happy with the stability.

    Just clamp them on, hand tightened.

With a reputable brand it should be fine provided your table is sturdy and you stick to weight specifications.

I use 2 silverstone arm11sc's for a pair of 40" and not had any dramas, despite a somewhat questionable clamping onto the table rail. Recommend them - they are substantially more expensive than other no frills mounts but they give a lot of freedom of movement.
