Asking for Person Who Experienced Buying Home Appliance with JB Hi-Fi Website

I am planing to buy a new washing machine this month due to my current washing machine play up recently. I have a $200 JB Hifi gift card that why I will buy it from them. I went to talk to a staff in the shop he gave discount to me but with delivery cost still more expensive than their website price which is free delivery. Want to ask any person who experienced their online delivery.

  1. I would like to know about their delivery if I buy it online, can i arrange the delivery time by myself? Like I can when I purchase its in store. for example after order online they will send an email to confirm date of delivery.
  2. if not, what will they do next if I m not at home when they delivery? Do they re-delivery or leave a letter for collect at depot or post office.
    PS. I dont have a car that why I m afraid If I miss the delivery I will get in a trouble.

        Seriously though see if you can get the same price with appliances online. They have a really good delivery service. JB-Hifi has gone to the dogs.

    Mabye you can try ask another staff member to honour their online price. Seems like the salesperson you got can't be bothered or there's not enough commission in your sale to want to lift his finger.

      I already asked the staff but he said he cannot give me the same price included delivery as online. The difference is $40. It quite a lot for me.

    If you buy online, how do you utilise the giftcard? Have you checked if its possible to pay online via giftcard?

      I already tried the website accept JB Hifi gift card and we can split the payment as well. For example pay $250 with jbhifi gift card and the rest pay with debit card.

    I bought a fridge and a washing machine from JB hifi a few months ago when they had 10% discount code and free delivery. They rang me to organise delivery. They only deliver though, not taking away the boxes or install the washing machine but still a good deal I had.

      I believe you can pay extra for those services.
      They'll even take away an old machine if you pay from premium.

      JB HIFI use 'point to point' couriers.
