Looking for any good deals on land lines with no rental fees. I think I saw an ad the other day for something like this with a $10 minimum spend, though I can't remember who was offering it. What else is out there?

Ah yes, that's the one. That's why I didn't remember the provider - it's a bundle. Is there something similar around with just a phone line?
And I know I'm thinking wishfully now but something without a contract would also be awesome…
Does Naked DSL count? Most companies offer a VOIP service with a landline number that people can call you on, although you do have to buy the hardware unless you wanna make calls via your computer and you probably can't keep your existing number. I've had Exetel for a few years…
I would just get a Telstra line for $20.95 or the TPG phone line.
IMO anything else would just make things annoying in the future. Some people might disagree though.
