Which Chromebook ~$250?

With the current eBay deal going on, what is a good Chromebook around the ~$250 range?

Requirements:

• Good battery life, going to be used for very extensive note taking.
• Good keyboard and trackpad
• Good screen

  You'll find there aren't that many shops in Australia that sell Chromebooks. The best bet would still be Amazon. There also aren't that many choice at ~$250 (~USD$191). ASUS C200MA 4GB? But that's a 2 year old model…

  I picked this Chromebook up thanks to Scotty https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/258544 a few weeks back for $255 after delivery - Its now about $306 + delivery it's a little out of your price range but so far its been a fantastic laptop with amazing battery life!

    Almost pulled the trigger on that one actually, if it pops up again I might give it a shot.

      The Asus chromebook that Scotty posted before seems to be in stock at $169.99 again but they will only ship the white / light blue one to Australia. Not a good colour for hubby so I will have to find another one
