Hi Juzz0,
I think it would be best to contact them directly http://www.shazami.com.au/contact-us.
I'm actually thinking of doing that myself, and checking out the other deals they've go on.
They say For a limited time only get up to 50% off RRP.
But yes shipping is a big price factor.Website to soon show following list of retailers which already stock Millennium Chocolates. A Direct Order page is being built right now and will soon be available for ordering direct as well for those who wish to order direct at wholesale prices in bulk.

Millennium Chocolate comes from the Ukraine. http://millennium.dp.ua/en/company/history_of_the_chocolate_… Not implying anything, I have no idea if they are tasty, just sharing what I found out from curiosity.
Apparently it's that good the Russians can't get enough of it.
Good job OzBargain. Teach those giveaway providers a lesson they will hopefully forget. No chocolate for me though :(
Who else shook their head when there was no 'suburb' field?
"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" Does that mean they think I am too fat to get some chocolate? ;-)
Has this turned into a scam?
Just got an email from them, with a change of plan, it says we can now select up to $8 worth of chocolate and use a code, but then there's a shipping cost attached..
And all of the items on the link we have to use show up as CLEARANCE - so I added 4 x $2 items to the cart and after the code it's $5.50 shipping, the chocolate is free.
This promo was advertised as a Freebie but now it will cost $5.50 to get $8 worth of Clearance Chocolate.
Sorry OP, but this Company needs a neg! part of the email is copied below:
Thanks for signing up to our Free Millennium Chocolate Giveaway.
We are delighted to inform you that our shopping cart website is now all ready and up and running!
As a result we are now able to offer you $8 worth of free chocolate instead of just the small 12 gram sample we had originally planned on sending you. You can now select up to $8 worth of free chocolate via our website using the following promotional code:
PROMOTIONAL CODE: MILLENNIUMXXX
Agreed. Bait and switch.
was shipping always extra?
With the postage this is $5.50 for 200g (maximum value) compared with my benchmark delicious chocolate: Aldi Choceur at $3 for 200g.
No deal.From the FAQ:
Q. Why are we being charged for shipping when your original offer seemed to imply that we would be sent sample without having to pay for shipping? Why else did you collect our addresses details if you did not intend on doing so?
A. Our original intention was to ship a very small 12g sample out to you at our cost. Just after we advertised this promotion, we were made aware by Australia Post that our small samples slightly exceeded the 20 mm thickness allowed for (bulk) letter rate and we would therefore have to pay a lot more for postage. We agonized over what to do next as we had not budgeted for this major cost increase. We sincerely apologize for this error. To make up for this mistake are offering you much more chocolate to make the $5.50 you need to pay towards the shipping and handling very insignificant. You are receiving amazing value, as you will now receive 4 chocolate sticks totaling approximately 216 grams of chocolate!!! This is $12 RRP worth of sample which would have costed you $8 via our online shop. We are confident that this extremely generous amount of chocolate will have more than compensated for this mistake.
The fact that they've addressed the issue in an FAQ is absolutely hilarious! But not in a good way.
They had planned to be dodgy from the beginning..
Sad.
Sorry, but this has turned into a voucher for clearance items (FAQ included in email suggests stock is past "best by" date) with shipping charges. Nothing against the OP, but the original offer was not honoured and I'm not impressed with this replacement offer.
Yeah, let me just pay for my free chocolate. No dice
Sorry guys, but we never promised free shipping.
Part of our original plan was to get shops in each postcode to stock our chocolates and for you to collect them from a shop nearest you which is another reason why we needed to know peoples addresses. Posting at less than letter rate was something we also considered as an option but never actually promised to do nor did we ever explicitly offer to do that.
As we understand are aware some of you might still find this upsetting, we have been super generous to offer you nearly 20 times the amount of chocolate we had originally planned to send out! Pity some of you have chosen to miss out on what we consider an amazing offer but we fully respect your decision nevertheless.
Kind Regards,
Mendy - on behalf of Management - Shazami Imports Pty Ltd
Do we have to pay shipping for your condescension too?
OzBargain deal posting guidelines are that if there is a delivery charge, it must be shown in deal title. As you did not show a delivery charge - there was none in this deal.
Your FAQ re: the deal says
"Our original intention was to ship a very small 12g sample out to you at our cost. Just after we advertised this promotion, we were made aware by Australia Post that our small samples slightly exceeded the 20 mm thickness allowed for (bulk) letter rate and we would therefore have to pay a lot more for postage."
I'm also curious why two "Mendy" from Melbourne joined Ozbargain at the same time and one is a store rep while the other, who posted this deal, received the info from a "friend".
Also why does OP appear to have 2 accounts?
Hey guys,
a friend just sent me this deal. How nice of a genuine new OzBargainer to "share" this deal. But now you are associated with the company?? Very suspicious.
Free Millennium Chocolate Giveaway
Deal was changed from free to we pay - ages later. Nasty.
list of retailers which already stock Millennium Chocolates.
Deal turned into an ad.
OP should be investigated by Mods.
Awesome deal!, nice bait and switching.
I honestly dont know why the hell this got over 100 votes and 7 negs.
Firstly. The OP or OP's company is bs. Saying its free but then charging a massive shipping fee using some bs lie about Aus Post. Great scam technique.
Secondly. OP has two accounts. OP is a liar, so this deal was posted on an account called Mandy. However theres another one called MandyR which is associated. Now Mandy, not MandyR, says she got it from a friend. Im not entirely sure about this so the mods can take a closer look.
To wrap up.
Bait and Switcher
Bs Lie
Possibly 2 accounts
Surely this justifies my negative vote on this deal
Sorry. Its Mendy and MendyR
Bait and switch and sockpupeting.

Any idea how to order? I'm guessing since they are distributors there's no pick up locations but would be interested to know how $$ shipping is, thinking about getting $25 worth of chocolate but might not be worth it if ship is extra $10-15.
