Olympic Games - More Specific IOC

What is your opinion about the International Olympic Committee? Here we had the Rio Olympic organisers making a political statement about Global Warming no doubt with the blessing of the IOC. I always thought Brazil is one of the worst offenders when it comes to global warming, cutting down the Amazon Forrest to grow crops to produce Ethanol, etc. And here we have the IOC hierarchy forcing the Rio games organisers to hold events mainly during the night because sponsors money dictates it. The flood lights are burning brightly everywhere in half empty stadiums. Overweight IOC officials getting from A to B in Limousines with road blocks and the traffic lights set to green so the poor dears can travel in comfort and without any stops on the way; stuff the 1000nds of motorists who have to wait and pollute the air doing so . There are helicopters in the air for hours just to get a few seconds of overhead shots. The IOC couldn’t care less about global warming. I think the IOC has absolute no credibility. Allowing drug cheats to take part in the Olympics is another proof of that.
