yeah, it's this/last years food craze in the USA…already 2 or 3 open/planned for Bondi in NSW too.
personally i agree with the chef in the link i posted above: if you're going to appropriate something, at least do it correctly.
No this our first one outside of America. It is a heathy and delicious staple of food, so we are very excited to bring it down under.
Isn't Poke the same as a chirashi you get from Japanese places?
similar basic concept, but quite different. you could say it's a bastardised version of chirashi.
Yum, yum!! Thank you for a super delicious, healthy lunch. So fresh and colourful!! So good, I went back to get 4 more bowls for half price later in the afternoon. Will definitely be coming back again.
