Looking for a good, semi-harmless oven cleaner.
Another post suggested to buy a pyrolytic oven, and I think ours is almost that. It's a Miele. (I didn't buy it, it was bought by the previous Owners.
Tried Mr Muscle, very clean but too caustic.
Tried Coles Easy-off, and only did half the job.
Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

+1 for ozkleen… it actually works ! I use some on the oven base, and the rest in the bag.
Like most people, I hate cleaning the oven, but when a product works, it's not as bad.
Thanks nocure. Hope you'd cure it :-)
vinegar and bi carb soda.
I hear alot of talk about this Vinegar and bi carb soda thing but is it really work?
yes if done properly.
You can youtube some videos.
I read somewhere that this is good if it is not too dirty. ..
I tried it - waste of time on filthy oven!
+1 for vinegar & bicarb soda
brand spanking new oven if youre patient and do it right as dasher86 said.
I use this one to clean rental ovens for bond, you basically put all the racks and trays into a cliplock bag, empty the bottle supplied into the bag , leave as long as possible and rinse off with the hose.
Rest of the oven i use Selleys Oven Gel it has a brush applicator, again leave on the surface for as long as possible and wipe clean.
Both products can be purchased at all supermarkets.
