Hi all, I would like some feedback regarding Android scanner app that you like the best.
There are 3 main features that I am after (easy upload to cloud storage, support multi pages and document framing). It seems that each scanner I have tried has its own downsides:
Google Drive
I like the integration with cloud storage (Google Drive). As the scanning feature is actually part of Google Drive app, the integration with cloud storage is the best. The support for multi pages is also good (easy to add more pages).
Only one thing this app is lacking, document framing. Sometimes it is hard to get good scan of the whole document and the document only. Often either the document cut off or it includes the background.
Microsoft Lens
The document framing is excellent. It supports uploading to cloud storage (OneDrive or OneNote) but it lacks multi pages feature.
CamScanner
Supports all three but the cloud storage integration is a bit clunky. I would say the general UI is a bit clunky.
What scanner app do you use? I would appreciate if you could share your experience with it. Thanks.
I hear good things about Abbyy FineScanner Pro… Not cheap though
