Hey guys, I'm heading overseas soon and wondering what you all might recommend as the best card to use whilst travelling. I'm open to using a credit card, debit card or travel cards as long as there are no fees. I know with CBA I can get a travel money card issued for free but there is a withdrawal fee every time I get money out of an ATM. I can use my credit card for purchases but they also charge currency conversion fees every time I use it. Any suggestions would be great, thanks !!
Best Card to use Overseas?

Use search (top righthand corner), this question comes up every few weeks here at ozbargain.
Might be due to all the cheap travel deals found here 😷
Citibank debit card for ATM access, the ATM operator may charge a fee, but Citibank does not. 28 degrees or Bankwest or Coles prepaid Mastercard for store purchases.
Note 28 degrees is changing their payment options to be less convenient, so maybe look at the Bankwest option for a longer term solution? The Coles prepaid Mastercard is international fee free until the end of the year.If you want a Citibank card, get onto it straight away. The process is slow. Ours was extremely slow- took 6 months due to missing paperwork., pin not arriving… You would need to allow 4-6 weeks.
This is good advice, but I managed to get mine in less than 2 weeks, so it isn't universally slow.
28 degrees for purchases and Citibank debit card for cash out of ATMs
I'm in the same dilemma, my normal bank acc is with cba so with their travel card I can do the transfer and it'll be there virtually immediately. I don't think I can say the same about the citibank acc
Citibank debit. No international transaction fees
