  • Had same for washing machine a short while back, but assumed it was cookie based for the code to work… Never tested the theory though.

There's a good chance you can get a better deal through their ebay store with the current 10% off ebay (min $75 spend) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/260522

    Here's their ebay store - http://stores.ebay.com.au/The-Good-Guys-Australia

  • I bought a $1k+ fridge last week at Good Guys. I wanted to buy a washing machine and a smaller fridge as well but they would not give me a discount instore because apparently their 'computers don't allow it' - but I received a discount the week before on some other items.

Since no discount, bought the fridge only which was still cheaper than elsewhere anyway.

But then got home and was browsing their fridges again, to check the online prices for the smaller fridges, and the $100 coupon as per the deal posted popped up. Was a little annoyed!

    • worth trying to pull them up on this one then? https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/30-day-price-guarantee

      • Yeah I was thinking about it, but figured they'd just say the coupon code was some random special event that only occurs for certain internet sessions, ie luck of the draw.

Not sure why you would even consider purchasing from an appliance seller where they don't offer discounts.

That's like going to a seafood shop that doesn't sell fish.

You REALLY need to be purchasing elsewhere. Seriously.

        • @llama:

Read my initial post again. tAs I said, he fridge was cheaper at GG than anywhere else, and I didn't buy the other items bc no discount.

          Read my initial post again

I don't need to read it again. I already read it tbe first time, and responded accordingly.

Rather than being defensive (no idea why), read MY post. It has nothing to do with your initial fridge purchase. Got it?

Whatever…if you dont hae anything useful to say dont say anything.
