Book Depository is cheaper if you don't mind waiting 2 weeks and having your books mailed in bubble wrap mailers which gives creases, dents, and dog ears to your books once in a while.
BD does send it in cardboard mailers sometimes though… I wonder why they don't do it all the time!?
Hi, the last three 7 books i have received from TBD have been mailed in secure cardboard packaging. Not even a scerrick of damage.
I find that my books from the Book Depository only come in cardboard if it's a softcover picture book or a hardcover book. I've only ordered once from Borders online - it was a paperback and it arrived in cardboard, which I was happy about.
I wish the Book Depository did use cardboard all the time … maybe my last order would have turned up in a better condition …
