Where to Apply for Jobs When over 50?

Anyone got any good advice on where to apply for jobs when over 50?
I retrained as phlebotomist and husband has done a truck driving course and forklift.
We have both applied for 100's of job but no luck.

    Red Cross always has jobs going for vampires like you; it's apparently a fairly high turnover job, believe it or not.

        good. it makes it easier to start a business. why work for someone else when you can be your own boss.

        Yes in Queensland it still is. Apparently Uber pays the fines though.

      Plenty of oldies work there. I looked on their website…..junior rates apply !!!!
      I have a mortgage to pay.

    sheriffs Officer. Base pay is average but I believe they get quite a bit of overtime which bumps it up.

    Otherwise be a train driver in Melbourne. $100k+. Just need to make sure you stop at each station unless your late then you can skip some

    You could have mine, if the sods would give me a package. I don't know why it is hard for people over 50 to get jobs. They have life experience and are generally reliable and practical. I can only think that hiring managers feel funny about giving someone older than them a less important job. Best of luck woth the search.
