I am looking for buying some budget furniture (sofa, beds, dining table, chairs, etc.) in Sydney. I have heard that there are plenty of warehouses and stores for local as well as imported furniture here, but I don't know which ones are the cheapest generally. Unfortunately, I am not driving yet and don't have time to survey the market by visiting all of those stores. I will be grateful if someone who has a similar experience can suggest some names.

It's quite expensive though. I am out for cheapo-cheap. Max. 3-4 yrs life and then re-sell or throw away.

Check Gumtree too.
So many people are selling very good condition furniture all the time when they move. Often much better quality that FF or Super Amart.
Checkout Op shops around you; particularly in some of the posher areas. You might be able to get some decent quality furniture rather than cheap plank stuff.

Check out Facebook groups (eg for sale (insert suburb name here)). There is always cheap lounges and basic furniture on my local ones - people can fit old lounge into new place etc.
