Nice….I picked mine up for $24 over last weekend @ JB.
    $29 is still a great price…enjoy!!

only just bought it from there last week for $24

  • Wish I had gone in last week. Still such a good price I couldn't resist.

  • Had to backorder at $24 last week, checking stock in NSW shows "none within 200 km of my post code". Can pick up in Melbourne if I feel like a drive

  • Eb games should match it.

Heh I got the pc version from previous deal delivered cause no local stock, and when I opened it… Fallout 3 disc AND code. Kinda bummed at first thinking someone nicked it, but I guess mistakes can happen too.

Still no stock in the state, so they're sending another one out; hopefully the right game this time round!

    • That's hilarious lol
Probably hoping you wouldn't notice :P

  • Thankfully picked up lunchbox version for $28 from eb

  • This is close to being released on the vive (vr). I can't wait!!

  • How is the game?

Great game if you're into open-world RPGs (e.g. Morrowind, Skyrim).

Bethesda tends to dream bigger than they deliver though, so graphics are great, combat is great, story line is meh, crafting is meh, and bugs… so many bugs.

It held my attention from start to finish, so that's a solid game in my book.

I just got it a few weeks ago on PC and am having trouble with the textures, everything looks blurry up close, and faces look terrible. Apparently it's a known issue, and after all this time they haven't patched it?!

I found some sort of unofficial fix (Here) but it seems a lot of messing around, and maybe doesn't work anymore…

Game is fun though! Still haven't figured out how to deal with supermutants without burning through all my ammo, nor deathclaws at all!

one man's meat is another man's poison. Fallout 4 is by far the best game I have ever played (before witcher 3 fan coming up to bash me, I have not played TW3 yet, so I will take it out from the equation). Never like that sort of open world game (hate skyrim, and stopped GTA 5 after playing for an hour) , but within an hour paying fallou4, I am instantly hooked and never look back then.

      • It looks prettier, the main questline is alright and the companions are very well fleshed-out but Fallout: New Vegas had far more content and 5 very solid to excellent DLCs. The FO4 DLCs, Far Harbor and Automaton, are decent but not the same calibre.

The radiant quest system and settlement building are kinda empty features.

Since this Ozbargain I would recommend getting the ultimate edition of F:NV over FO4, otherwise it's probably worth $30.

  • no stock near me, but it's only $30.97 on Kinguin.

  • Must resist…..already have Fallout 1, 2, 3 and New Vegas on backlog that I haven't finished yet…..

    • Picjed up fallout 3 and all dlc plus new vagas and all dlcs on a steam sale for a princely sum of 1995.

I have finished 3. Point lookout. Starting another dlc but went to NV so yeh got a lot of gaming on mu hands….

Fo3 on my ps3 i had 1200+ hours so yeh a long time indeed.

      • I got 1, 2, 3 and New Vegas for I'd say about $60 together, definitely know I paid $20 or so for 3 and probably $20 something too for New Vegas, I forgot how much I paid for 1 and 2, but I would guess a total of $20 so that makes $60 all up.

I've already started 3, got to some point, I forgot where though I remember passing a bridge and some big ass monument, haven't seen death claw yet though would like to meet him as I was told his a good challenge to face….hahaha I remember talking to some black guy at some ruined building….forgot his name though….killed some big monster guys, forgot what they're called, or was this in another game? hahaha and that's all I remember from my experience a few years ago…

        • You need to brush up on your story and play some more

        • @Hotkolbas: Hahaha, could you guess where I'm at by reading that? hahaha

Yeah, I need to continue where I left off…where ever that was(I should still have the save file(s), hope it's not corrupted after I dismantled my old computer system so I could move onto a better gaming system which is what I'm on now(which is why I stopped playing and then eventually forgot about it..hehehe)….or else I'll be looking at starting it from the beginning….)….just got so many games on backlog, right now I'm working on the Gothic series(just finished #1 not too long ago, now onto #2 and then it's expansion afterwards, then 3 and its expansion and then I will make my way to #4 and its expansion too), a bunch of random indie games I got and procrastinating by looking up random stuff on firefox….hahaha

  • It's $29 at JB online too (probably a couple of $ for postage)

  • If anyone found a cheap Season Pass for Fallout 4 PS4, please let me known.
