Anyone Heard of CCC Warehouse

Looking at buying a new camera lens and this website has very cheap prices. Looks like grey imports from Hong Kong.

Hello everyone who may come across this thread.

    I'm michael Rep from CCCWarehouse.com.au

We acquired this domain name from the previous owners as they had no use for it. We are not affiliated with the them at all.

We thought the IT guys had taken care of all the necessary registration changes. We will get that fixed soon.

Our stock are sourced from official distributors, so we are confident about the authenticity of the product from our suppliers.

There are 2 external protections customers can easily rely on for full confidence.

    1. we accept paypal payments (almost exclusively), all experienced online shoppers should be aware of PayPal buyer protection system and dispute resolution process, especially how quickly it resolves Non delivery, Not as described type issues.

    2. Anyone unsure about authenticity can easily get the items authenticated by the local service centres. We are confident they will be happy with the verdicts.

If ever anyone got an adverse finding, we will have to arrange replacement or refund, or I'm sure they will simply lodge a PayPal dispute. We will also cease trading with the supplier involved, as weeding out dodgy supplier is even more important to us than our customers.

We have many happy photographer customers who has been with us for years, they spend a lot more time using the products than enthusiasts, so if there were anything wrong there will be many more unhappy forum postings.

I will also use this opportunity to provide a little bit more insight into what we are doing, as we believe you can only make an informed choice if you have all the information.

Many people probably noticed the same stuff is often cheaper overseas for no good reason (even after we add in the tax rate differential, exchange rates…etc). This is due to different pricing policy adopted by manufacturer branch offices in different countries. Some are more aggressive to capture market share, some are less aggressive if they are already in a dominant position.

Previously it was too hard to take advantage of these lower prices, as the cost of shipping is prohibitively high, and there is no one there to coordinate the onforwarding / re-shipping handling required to get your order back to Australia.

This is where we come in, we have higher shipping volumes so we got top discount rate from all the big air express couriers, with the cost barrier out of the way, we are able to streamline what used to be a complex series of stock movements into a simple online shopping experience for the consumer without paying any extra handling costs. You order and the item turn up in 3-5 days time.

With the higher volumes we are also able to buy from wholesale sources to get better prices.

Two biggest differences between us and other direct import sellers are, we can do fast shipping, everyday we get urgent requests, 3 days to Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne (we don't encourage this habit though, it puts everyone under a lot of stress).

Most importantly we handle all after sale service in Australia. So if there are any warranty claims, most likely we will simply pay the local service centres to handle the servicing. This effectively bridging the last gap between direct imports and local stocks. We call this "local service + international prices"

I understand there are big difference in opinion between buying from official channels and direct/parallel imports, we see us simply providing consumers another choice.

Feel free to contact us directly with any inquiries, as we don't watch this page everyday. Our contact details are found on the contact us page on our website. We are reachable by Phone, email.

    • From the feedback here it looks like you're all good so I take back my initial post. Best you get those registration details updated though. Good luck with the business.

  • I've just ordered a Tamron 70-200 f2.8 from them. Will report back after receiving and let you know how the transaction went.

  • Received the Tamron 70-200 f2.8. Arrived very quickly. Well packaged / no surprises etc. I was a bit impatient and purchased a couple of other lenses elsewhere (eBay) and am now regretting it, because I would have saved about $125 if I bought from CCC instead. Anyway, can definitely recommend these guys and will buy from again. I can't comment on their after-sales support etc.

  • Appreciative of this forum, which has given me some confidence to take the plunge with this site… Prices are very, very competitive. Will also report back.

  • Got my new lense today 70-200mm Nikkon VR. 3 Day delivery (without choosing priority post), well packaged, all above board. Recommend this place given the price is so competitive.

  • Merged from Anyone Actually Bought Camera Lens from Cccwarehouse?

Has anyone bought a camera lens from cccwarehouse.com.au? They are too ridiculously cheap to even believe. They do like 50%-70% sale on their lenses and they say they can do that because 1. no gst and 2. they source it from overseas.. Not sure if to even trust to buy it from them.. Their facebook have like 1 comment/review by a person and nothing else..
