Useful mobile/tablet File Manager. I use this and ES File Explorer for various tasks in my devices. You need to download and install the standard version and the upgrade Option will appear in the app. E

How much is it Op?
Personally I like MiXplorer from some of the devs over at XDA-Devs
it's free & avaialble hereAnything would have to be better. I hate file commander. It comes with my Xperia, and it always annoyed me as it keeps nagging me to upgrade. I saw this post, and thought OK, maybe it is like 99c, and I've got some google play credit. But 3.29 for annoying nagware? I've disabled it again.
what task ES File Explorer can't do and this one can please?
I'd like to keep minimum apps in my phone.I've been distrustful of ES File Explorer ever since they injected shady Adware into it. They supposedly removed that stuff - no doubt due to the outcry, but for me the damage is already done. I'm not gonna trust them with my stuff - plenty of other options.
I thought that was only the free version?
Anyway, it tried to make some money in a blatantly obvious way, and they removed it. Plus, paid version doesn't have any bloat. This worked better for me than Solid when I tested the two.
Sure, it's a personal choice. I do think it's good for people to be informed so they can take it into account.
For me it's about trust. They lost mine when they injected Adware. Once a company has done this sort of thing, I start to wonder what else they're doing that isn't so obvious.
For me at least, there are other options, so it's not too painful to leave ES behind.
I don't know about adware, but the paid version of ES File Explorer has been going to shit for a long time. They've injected so many useless extra features, and take up so much space spruiking their other apps, that it sucks at it's main function, being a file explorer. It takes multiple taps and swipes to actually get to the basic file explorer from starting the app.
From my phone stats, it's taking 28MB and when I open it up takes me straight to my folder structure.
I'm enjoying all the features. It's fast and responsive and all features work.
Not sure what the issue is?
@justmiike: I may have been a quick to jump here.
I reset my phone frequently because it's a PoS sub $100 pre-paid (kids keep killing my phones leaving me with this). It seems to be the resets that ensure I get taken to the home screen each time, which has most of it's screen real estate dedicated to the cleaner and other various tools.
I use Solid Explorer File Manager https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.solidexplor… and love it
Sorry for the lack of info. First post so I forgot a couple of details.
