I'm looking to buy a quiet USB-powered desk fan

Don't want to spend too much, but I'm prepared to pay for some quality, and I want to keep cool

Go check out Daiso Japan. They have plastic ones similar to the one posted above for under $5. Or JB Hi-Fi have some similar sized ones made from metal.

Bought this at JB Hifi last Christmas. Available in white or black. Good quality, metal built, quiet yet powerful. Cost $14.95 - not the cheapest but looks like it will last for many summers.

I'm personally not big on putting unnecessary additional current load on my USB ports, but that's just me.
