Help me find excellent 2.0 computer speakers <$50

Hello,

After about 4 years My Creative T10 speakers finally had the carrot (they died, well the left one did) and the last 2 months I had random capacitor whine/hums/screams/squirts. These were excellent value as I only paid ~$40, except for one point, they needed to be at around mid volume or higher to get the best out of them, unfortunately that's too loud most of the time, they were a bit muddy on low volume.

  • Can someone please recommend great 2.0 speakers at a bargain price (prefer sub $50 but will consider +$) prefer with headphone jack somewhere on them.
  • Please NOT surround or with subs as in 2.1 or 5.1
