Where to Find Plantain in Sydney

Hi

Where can i find
1. Plantains
2. Plantain chips

in sydney.

i tried the below 2 stores - and they dont carry these items.

    There are frozen cooking bananas in asian shops. Still it is sometimes a tad sweeter than your regular plantain

    "Per kilo" Colombian restaurant in erskine st CBD has three types of frozen bags whole or sliced, green or ripe. It's hard to find fresh ones, I've bought them before in marrickville rd Asian green grocers but the next time I went they were not there.

    Tienda Latina in Ashfield has dried chips
    Tierras Latina in Fairfield has them too

      bit pricey though
      11.90 for 900+ grams.

          @mr_asstight: Dunno, too far away for me and I don't need the large quantities of produce that they sell there, but it would be one place to look. OP claims success.
