The competition is divided into two phases.

Phase 1: Win a DNA test kit to find out how diverse you are

Tell us how you will open the world through travelling and win a DNA kit (a simple saliva test), by August 16th 2016.

If you win a DNA kit, you can take the next step towards winning the journey of your life.

Phase 2: Win a journey of your life - This part is only open to the 500 winners of the first phase, and there will be 103 winners.

When you get your DNA results, shoot a short video of how you react to seeing where you're from for the very first time – who knows what emotions you'll capture! Your video is your ticket to winning a journey of your life: a trip to every country you're from, or a trip to your favourite country found in your DNA.

From the T&Cs:

Phase one
There will be 500 winners in Phase One of the competition. Each winner will win a maximum of one DNA testing kit (with an approximate value of 200 EUR). There will be a minimum of 20 winners from each of the participating countries [including Australia].

The third and final group of 100 DNA kit winners will be selected and contacted on August 16th, 2016.
A minimum of five entrants from each participating country will be selected in this third group.
Unsuccessful entrants will be notified via the email address they provided when submitting their entry on August 16th, 2016.

Phase two
Phase Two of the competition will commence at 10:00am CEST on June 16th, 2016, and end at 10:00am CEST on September 30th, 2016.

Only the 500 winning entrants in Phase One are eligible for entry in Phase Two of the competition.

There will be 103 winners in phase 2 of the competition. There are three types of prizes: 1st prize, 2nd prize and 3rd prize.

1st prize is The DNA Journey, with a maximum value of 15,000 EUR.
There will be one 1st prize winner.

2nd prize is return flight tickets to a single destination of the winner’s choice, for one or two persons, with a maximum value of 1,000 EUR.
There will be 18 2nd prize winners: one 2nd prize winner from each participating country.

3rd prize is a DNA testing kit, meaning a Phase One winner can give a DNA testing kit to a friend, partner or family member.
There will be 90 3rd prize winners, distributed evenly across all participating countries.
